Career Chats

Connecting Today's Professionals with Tomorrow's Talent!

In conjunction with San Diego Unified School District, The BIOCOM Institute Career Chats program connects industry professionals with high school students in an easy going, intimate setting.

This program aims to give students a broader idea as the scope of careers within the life science community, through informal conversations with professionals.

During a Career Chat, a panel of industry professionals begin by address a class of high school students providing a brief summery of their job in the life science and their company. The class then breaks out into smaller groups to talk the the professionals about their individual career path. Industry professionals may also provide career advice and resume review.

All professionals are welcomed!

Past volunteers has come from all aspects of industry including science, communications, marketing, administration and finance.
